General description

ENStem-A™ Neuronal Differentiation Medium is a specially formulated medium optimized for the preferential differentiation of ENStem-A™ human neural progenitor cells to a neuronal lineage. The medium has been extensively validated on ENStem-A™ Human Neural Progenitor Cells. Using ENStem-A™ Neuronal Differentiation Medium, relatively pure populations of neuronal cells (>90% bIII-tubulin positive) are obtained. Very low levels of astrocytes (﹤0.5% GFAP positive) are detected. Sufficient medium is supplied to provide for 100 separate reactions at 1 mL volume or 10 reactions at 10 mL volume.

Each lot of media is tested for the optimal differentiation of ENStem-A™ Human Neural Progenitor Cells to a neuronal lineage.
Sterility Testing: Negative

Storage and Stability

ENStem-A™ Neuronal Differentiation Medium should be stored at -20°C until ready to use. Upon thawing, fresh L-Glutamine (not provided) should be added for a final concentration of 2 mM to the medium. Thawed medium should be stored at 2-8°C and given a 1-month expiration dating. Dispense into aliquots to avoid repeated heating prior to each use.
